ABOUT THIS PAGE

You just witnessed Conway's Game of Life in action. The pixels from the title dispersed to the edges and began following the rules of cellular automata — a cell lives if it has 2-3 neighbors, dies of loneliness or overcrowding, and new cells are born with exactly 3 neighbors.

This visualization demonstrates the emergent complexity that arises from simple rules — a theme that runs through much of my work in data science and AI.
